Our Approach

At Greenlight, we practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that we look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

A health coach (or health counselor) is a wellness guide and supportive mentor. Together, we’ll work to achieve your goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, deconstructing food cravings, improving sleep, and boosting energy. As an individual client you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will nourish your life.

One person’s food is another person’s poison–no one diet works for everyone. We’ll support you in making positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, personal preferences, and background. Instead of prescribing one fix for all people, we use a personalized, holistic approach that is based on your needs.

Our Health Coaches

Jeni Lee and Juli-Ann Waddell started Greenlight with the desire to help people achieve healthier and happier lives through the discovery and integration of whole foods. As sisters, they have learned from one another about cooking, how food makes you feel, what foods work best for them as individuals, and the importance of healthy lifestyle choices. In a search to learn more, they graduated as Certified  Health Coaches from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and members of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

Juli-Ann Waddell

“I’ve found  my calling!”  So says Jeni Lee, who shifted her career to coaching in 2007. When she’s not coaching or chasing around her pre-school son, Jeni divides her time between yoga, convening Well Women, and celebrating the completion of her husband’s PhD.

Mother of 2, entrepreneur, and farmer best describe Juli-Ann Waddell. Seeking the latest adventure with her teenagers is what most of her free time is devoted to, but most days you can also find Juli-Ann cooking up something yummy in the kitchen or creating the next class for Greenlight.
